I WAS AT THE MEETING LAST NIGHT AND IT WAS MENTIONED THAT THERE WILL BE AN ITALIAN FESTIVAL AT SOUTH BEACH IN OCTOBER--DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT DAY THAT IS! THANKS--I AM ALSO LOOKING FORWARD TO THE PARADE.

The festival will be on October 6 and 7 in the parking lot off Capodanno Blvd from noon until 10pm. It is sponsored by Ariana's Catering Hall. Rides and games will be available for children. Traditional Italian food will be on tap in addition to vendors who'll be trading in handbags and jewelry. For additional information about the festival call Ariana's at 718-980-5005.
